Great things are happening for Pine-Strawberry Fire District.

We have been awarded a grant to replace all of our breathing apparatus (SCBA's) and the refill cascade system as well.  We are all very excited about this. It has been many years since we have been able to replace our bottles and equipment. There are so many new things out there, that we are taking our time and doing some research, but you can bet that in this year you will be catching us all out there training with our nice new equipment.

CINCH HOOK SNOW PLAY AREA IS CLOSED!!

This popular play area is closed for the winter season of 2011/12.  Please be aware of the NO PARKING signs as well. Parking in these areas can cause danger to everyone, including emergency personnel attempting to reach those in need. PROPERTY ASSESSMENT PROGRAM

REDUCE YOUR FIRE RISKS

This program is to assist property owners in finding the fire risk and forest health issues on their properties.

Free of charge - trained and certified personnel from our Fuels Management Program will provide an assessment and detail the risks related to fire on your property. We will discuss these risks and provide options for eliminating them through our government grant program.

Your first step - Call st. 41 admin. and let us know you want your property assessed.  We will get you on the list.  When time slots in your area are available we will call to let you know when we will be there.  If you are not home at the time, we will go ahead and do the assessment.  A written form will be sent to you regarding your assessment findings.  You can follow up with a phone call to discuss options for eliminating your fire risks.

This program is very beneficial to the property owner and the community.  Help us to continue to keep our community aware of fire danger, and create a strong Firewise community.

USE THE FREE HAZARD ASSESSMENT PROGRAM BY CALLING YOUR FIRE DEPARTMENT NOW.
