ADDITIONAL PLAN REQUIREMENTS
1) Any new building construction where any part of the construction is more than 150 feet from the fire access roads would be subject to the following-
Minimum of 20 foot wide all weather access road capable of supporting the weight of a fire truck - 25 tons.
Forty foot radius or Fire Dept. approved turnaround.
Grade not to exceed 15%
Vertical clearance of 13 feet and 6 inches.
Any bridges or culverts must be engineered to support 25 tons.
2) One and Two-Family Dwellings: All new one and two family dwellings having a fire area greater than 3600 square feet shall be required to have a approved residential sprinkler system. This requirement also applies whenever additions to the dwelling exceed 25% of the original fire area AND the resulting dwelling exceeds 3600 square feet in fire area.
