This program is to assist property owners in finding the fire risk and forest health issues on their properties.
Free of charge - trained and certified personnel from our Fuels Management Program will provide an assessment and detail the risks related to fire on your property. We will discuss these risks and provide options for eliminating them through our government grant program.
Your first step - call the Fire Dept. 476-4272 and let us know you want your property assessed. We will get you on the list. When time slots in your area are available we will call to let you know when we will be there. If you are not home at the time, we will go ahead and do the assessment. A written form will be sent to you regarding your assessment findings. You can follow up with a phone call to discuss options for eliminating your fire risks. This program is very beneficial to the property owner and the community. Help us to continue to keep our community aware of fire danger, and create a strong Firewise community.
