In March 2009 FF Shane Johnson attended the "First In" Acadamy of Exctrication. He said the instruction was excellent and the skills he learned will be very beneficial. With new designs for safety in automobile manufacturing, the skills necessary for extrication are also changing. From completing this course Shane will bring these new techniques to our department.
