For brush pickup please place branches, small rounds (nothing longer than 8 feet in length & larger than 6 inches in diameter), pine needles and bags of leaves beside the road. Leaves and pine cones must be bagged, needles can be piled. Please do not put trash, garbage or lumber with your brush. Due to time constraints we are not able to sort these items from your brush and will not make the pickup from your property. This service is for residential property owners only. We do not haul for commercial tree trimmers and landscapers.

Please fill out the “Community Worksheet” and send it in to the P/S Fire Dept. It is an integral part of the government grant that is sponsoring the Fuels Reduction program. The department gets grant reimbursement for the hour that is spent clearing your lot. Please attach a copy of any receipt for monies spent on the clearing of your lot. The department gets reimbursment of all receipts .

We also use the RPAP pit on the Control Road (follow the signs) for those that don’t want to leave their brush beside the road. It is open Sundays at 8:00 am and is free.

WINTER SCHEDULE - NOVEMBER THROUGH MARCH

The fuels route is set up on a 2 week rotating schedule with Pine and Strawberry divided into 4 zones each. Four days each week brush is picked up in these zones. At the bottom of this page you will find a monthly schedule for each zone.  You can use this to determine when we will be in your area. We will also utilize a second bobcat to haul brush piles for our State Fire crews.

Thank you for your patience as we try to get to everyone in a timely fashion.
